Kenneth was a member of the Southern Baptist Church in Rutherfordton.

Kenneth's character was shaped early as an Eagle Scout, a distinction that reflected the values he carried throughout his life--integrity, service, and responsibility.

He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Daniel of Dallas and his brothers, Chris Daniel and Dennis Daniel.

The funeral was held December 16 with Rev. Dr. Peter Surran officiating. Military honors were provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
