Kevin Lane, age 57, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2026.

Kevin was born December 4, 1968 in Rutherford County to the late Junior Lane and Vivian Lee Merchant Lane. He was a graduate of R-S Central High School. Kevin served as a paramedic for over 30 years for Rutherford and Polk Counties. He also was a member of the Life Saving and Rescue Squad. He was a member of Crestview Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Shawn Lane.

Those left to honor his legacy include his wife, Shelly Conner Lane; daughter, Taylor Berryhill (Dillon) of Bostic; son, Cameron Lane (Catherine) of Casar; stepsons, Chris Laughter of Caroleen and Joshua Head of Ruth; stepdaughters, Charity Head of Washington State and Allyssa Mosier of Caroleen; sister, Tracy Talbert (Mike) of Lawndale and eight grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service held in Kevin's honor on a date to be announced.
