Laura Kay Wishon, age 66, of Forest City, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019.

She was a lifelong resident of Caroleen and Forest City and an avid NASCAR, football and country music fan. Kay enjoyed spending time with her beloved cousins, friends and family members. She worked for Mastercraft for thirty years before retirement. Kay was a member of Caroleen United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Wishon and her adored son, Jason Clint Wishon.

Those left to cherish her memory include her brother, Chris Burgess and wife, Libby of Asheville and a sister, Linda Biggerstaff of Forest City; nieces and nephews, April Burgess-Johnson, Keith Biggerstaff and Shane Burgess. She will also be remembered by a wide circle of cousins and close friends.

The funeral service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Interment followed in the Avondale-Caroleen-Henrietta Cemetery.
