Lauretta Elizabeth "Vickie" Thornwell Ganora age 95 of Forest City, NC died Friday, September 9, 2022.

Born July 6, 1927, in Brooklyn, NY she was a daughter of the late Charles Thornwell and Marie Reilly Thornwell. She retired from the Colonial School District.

She was member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church.

She is survived by son Victor Ganora, Jr, one granddaughter, three grandsons, daughter Lauretta Huffman and husband John, one great-great grandson, one great-great-great granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by grandson Michael Keith Larson as well as all of her brothers and sisters.

Funeral services were held September 15 at Padgett and King Chapel with Deacon Andy Cilone officiating.
