Lesa Ledbetter, age 56, of Rutherfordton, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023.

Lesa was born March 8, 1966 in Yancey County to the late Ray Street and Faye Ray Street. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years at Fair Haven Home. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Street and brother, Charlie Street.

Those left to cherish fond memories include her husband of 31 years, Gerry Ledbetter; children, Amanda Ledbetter of Rutherfordton, Jonathan Ledbetter (Kayla) of Rutherfordton, Danny Honeycutt of Raleigh, and Ashley Robinson (C.J.) of Spruce Pine, siblings, Keith Street of Ellenboro, Linda Allen of Yancey County, Tammy Street of Spruce Pine, Gary Allen (Sarah) of Spruce Pine and Ray Allen (Rita) of Spruce Pine; eight grandsons and one granddaughter.

The funeral service was held February 2 at Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ernie Cole officiating.
