Lillie Robbs Moore, 100, of Forest City, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2012.

    A native of Rutherford County, she was born on September 25, 1911, a daughter of the late Grover and Mary Self Robbs

    In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, John R. Humphries; her second husband, Otto Moore; one brother, James Robbs; one sister Janet Powell. She is survived by two sons, Joe Humphries of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Charles Humphries of Forest City, North Carolina; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

    Funeral services were held at the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel at McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral Home. Burial followed at Cleveland Memorial Park.
