Linda Epley Blackwell, age 57, of Forest City, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016.

Born January 26, 1959 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late James Epley and Ruby Beheler Epley. She was a graduate of Isothermal College and worked at Park Ridge Hospital. Linda was a member of Harris Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, James Blackwell of Forest City; brothers, Scott Epley and wife Kim of Shelby, Ron Epley and wife Angela of Boiling Springs; three nieces, four nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services were conducted at Harris Baptist Church with Reverend George Whitmire, Reverend Barry Goodman and Reverend William Calvert officiating. Interment followed at Harris Baptist Church Cemetery.

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
