The Lake Lure Lions Club recently conducted a free vision screening at Mountains Branch Library. In all, 27 participants were screened, and eight were referred for follow up care with a physician. Pictured are, from left, Jane Torres, Joann Kearney, Penny Watkins and Sue Lewis (seated).
