Lisa Darlene Hammett Hardin, age 56, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018.

A native of Alexandria, VA, she was a daughter of Mrs. Myra McGee Hammett of Forest City and the late Franklin Hammett. She was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Hankinson in 2006.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband of 27 years, George A. Hardin, a son, Brent Hankinson and wife Mandy of Rutherfordton, a daughter, Holly Joy VonBriel of TN, a step-son, John Hardin and wife Marie of Mooresboro, three sisters, Sherry Galliardt, Sonya Smith, and Crystal Bullman.

Funeral services were held at the Padgett & King Chapel. Rev Dr. Bobby Gantt officiated.

The Padgett & King Mortuary & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
