Lois Virginia Tate Goode, age 88

Lois Virginia Tate Goode, age 88, wife of William Francis Goode of Forest City passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016.

Lois was a native of Rutherford County, a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Ethel Alexander Tate and a number of brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memory in addition to her husband William are her children Joe Goode of Shelby, Norris Goode of Charlotte and Margaret Ann (Joe) Logan of Mt. Pleasant, SC and 1 grandchild.

A service to celebrate the life of Lois Goode was held at Mount Vernon Baptist Church with the Dr. Scott Courtney officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County P.O. Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043
