Louis James Barwell Jr. age 63 of Rutherfordton, NC passed away on June 12th 2015.

Louis was a Master Mechanic and a car enthusiast. Louis engaged everyone he ever met in conversation. He was the son of Mae Elizabeth Barwell, and the late Louis James Barwell Sr.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Kathleen Barwell; sons Kevin and wife Jessica, Brian and wife Lisa, Craig, James Milling and wife Amy; daughter Carolyn Reece and husband Tim; thirteen grandchildren, one great grandchild on the way; brother Daniel Barwell and wife Renee; sisters Lois Almoney and husband George, and Sherry Mooney; and a number of other friends and family.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County POB 336 Forest City NC 28043.

Crowe's Mortuary is assisting the family.
