Louise Norman Burch of Kernersville, NC passed away Monday, July 10, 2023.

Louise was born in Shelby to Clara and John Norman on July 12, 1923. She would have celebrated her 100th birthday in two days. Louise graduated from Shelby High School and on January 24, 1942, married James Burch. Jim and Louise moved to Forest City, NC in 1952 and together worked side by side at Royster Oil Company until Jim's passing in 1993.

Louise was a member of First Baptist Church in Forest City.

Louise is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Johnny Watkins of Kernersville, one grandson, her sister and brother-in-law, Carol and R. B. Jenkins of Gastonia; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters and three brothers.

It is Louise's wish that there be no funeral and that wish will be honored. Louise will be laid to rest at her husband's side at Eternal Hills in Forest City. Burial will be private.
