Macie Henson Hardin, 90

Macie Henson Hardin, 90, of Cliffside, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2012. 

A native of Rutherford County, she was born on October 4, 1921, a daughter of the late Mack Henson and Dollie Byars Henson Silver. She was retired from Cone Mills Corporation - Haynes Plant. She was also an active member of Plain View Baptist Church. She loved flowers and her cats. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Amos Hardin; three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by one son, Jimmy Hardin and fiancé Cathy Hamilton of Cliffside; one grandson, Jimmy Ray Hardin, Jr. and wife Donna; one great granddaughter, Jessica Nicole Hardin; three great-great grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Greene of Forest City. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.Funeral services were held at Plain View Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Robert Toney, Rev. Ray Hooper, Rev. Wayne Toney and Rev. Marshall Dill officiating. Burial followed at Plain View Baptist Church Cemetery.
