Margaret Callahan Norman, 84, of Ellenboro, NC, passed away on  Saturday, September 24, 2011. Services were held at Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Internment was held in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Norman was preceded in death by  her husband of 56 years, Raymond Norman; her parents, John Wesley Callahan and Sarah Elizabeth Reavis Callahan; one brother, Jack Callahan and one sister, Betty Jones.

She is survived by her son, Van Norman and wife, Jan of Ellenboro; one grandson, Matthew Norman of Ellenboro; two sisters, Louise Greene of Shelby, NC and Nell Greene of Henrietta; two brother in-laws, Ralph Norman and wife, Linda of Henrietta, James “Pebo” Norman of Lincolnton, NC and numerous nieces and nephews.
