Margaret Dobbins Scoggins, 71, of Forest City

Margaret Dobbins Scoggins, 71, of Forest City, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2011. Services were held at Floyd’s Creek Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Scoggins was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Forrest Scoggins; and her parents, L.Z. and Nina Mae Bell Dobbins. 

She is survived by one son, Chip Scoggins and wife Denise of Gaffney; two daughters, Loretta Winters and husband Rick of Forest City and Elora White and husband Terry of Rutherfordton; one brother, Roger Dobbins of Shelby; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
