Margaret Isabelle Allen Stroud, of Shelby, went to her heavenly home Friday March 10, 2017, she was 109 years old.

Born in York County, SC September 13,1907 she was the daughter of the late James Hamilton Allen and Annie Hope Allen and the widow of William Green Stroud. She was a homemaker, long time resident of Chester, SC, and former member of Parkway Baptist Church. She is currently a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church, Boiling Springs, NC.

She is survived by two grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son William Allen Stroud, Sr; two brothers, Ray Allen and Joe Allen and five sisters; Azilee McClinton, Pearl Tadlock, Juanita Simpson, Sadie Dawkins, and Lillian Blanks.

Funeral Service was held at Boiling Springs Baptist Church, Boiling Springs, NC with Rev. Keith McKinney and Dr. Carroll Page presiding. Graveside service was held at Chester Memorial Gardens, Chester, SC.
