Maria Laboy, 62, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023. Originally from Puerto Rico, she spent her life in Newburgh, NY, and later in North Carolina.

She was born to the late Victoria Montalvo and Ramon Laboy

Maria actively participating and aiding the less fortunate at Evergreen United Holy Church in Salemburg.

Survived by her children, Destiny Falcon, Katrina Peters, Jesus Rivera; step-children, Sierra Maise and Diamonte Ortiz; five grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2pm Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Springmore Baptist Church, Shelby.
