Maria Luz Gonzalez-Almanza, age 68, of Mooresboro passed away, Thursday, October 26, 2023.

She was born in Mexico on December 13, 1954 to the late Isidro Gonzalez and Maria de Jesus Almanza.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Francisco Gonzalez.

Those left to cherish her memory include her four daughters, Maria Rodriguez, Cristina Rodriguez Gonzalez, Andrea Rodriguez Gonzalez, and Dianna Rodriguez; three brothers, Samuel Gonzalez, Jose Luiz Gonzalez, Isidro Gonzalez; two sisters, Rosario Gonzalez, Yolanda Gonzalez; also, sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held November 4 at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Father Herbert Burke officiating.
