Marian Lee Richardson Walke age 76

Marian Lee Richardson Walke age 76 of Summerfield Lane went home to be with the Lord on Monday June 18, 2012. A native of Dade County Florida she was a homemaker and attended First United Methodist Church of Rutherfordton, NC.
 

She is survived by her husband Delbert Walke of the home, one daughter Jackie Patten and husband Bruce of Wake Forest; two sons – D. Lee Walke, Jr and wife Pam of Rutherfordton, William L. ” Marty” Walke and wife Jan of Rutherfordton; one brother James Summerfield Richardson of Falkville, AL; one sister Janice Opalka of Fort Lauderdale, FL; seven grandchildren & three great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents William Summerfield Richardson and Mary Lee McCorvey Richardson. 

A celebration of her life was held at the First United Methodist Church in Rutherfordton, NC with Rev. Jack Knoespel officiating.
 In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Hospice of Rutherford County POB 336 Forest City, NC 28043.
