Marie Peeler Phillips, age 74 of Forest City, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021.

Marie was born on November 25, 1946 in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Adelaid and Nellie Jane Hamrick Peeler.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Leah Robinson and twin granddaughters.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Phillips of the home, her son, John Phillips and wife Miranda of Forest City, her daughter, Michelle Flynn and husband Matt of Forest City, her sisters, Kathy Earley of Ellenboro and Angela Lovelace of Forest City. There are also eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at Floyds Creek Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
