Martha Flack Ferree, age 89 of Forest City died April 2, 2022.

Martha was born October 19, 1932, in Forest City and was the daughter of the late J. L. and Ethel Huntley Butler.

Martha was a graduate of Cool Springs High School and a member of the First Baptist Church.

She was a member of the Pilot Club of Rutherford. Martha was a teacher's assistant and bus driver at Chase High School for more than twenty-five years.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jimmy F. Flack in 1967 and her second husband, Dan Ferree in 1983.

Survivors include sons, Jef Flack and wife Lynn, Mark Flack, and wife Kim all of Forest City, four grandchildren.

A service from the graveside was held April 6, at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Garin Hill and Rev. Dr. Diane Nelson officiating.

The family suggest memorials be made in her memory to South Mountain Christian Camp, PO Box 9, Bostic, NC 28018.
