Martha Lou Goforth was born to the late Augustine Thomas Waldrop and Mary Elizabeth Waldrop in Greenville, SC on October 2, 1942. She gained her heavenly wings Monday, May 16, 2022.

She is survived by children, Laura G. Arledge, David Brown, Christine Dotson (Mike), Melissa Trotter, and Mary Louise Brown; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of life service was held May 20, 2022 at Shingle Hollow Holiness Church in Rutherfordton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to an animal rescue organization of your choice.
