Martha Rhodes Smith, age 84, of Yorktown, VA, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017.

She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late William Pink Rhodes and the late Clara Bradley Rhodes. She was retired from Stonecutter Mills. She was the widow of the late Norman Smith.

She is survived by one son: Bobby Smith and wife Denise of Yorktown, VA. Three sisters: Elizabeth Lee, Lois Searcy, Opal Brim. One brother: Garland Rhodes. Two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held at Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Richard Bass officiating. Interment at Mount Vernon Baptist Cemetery.
