Mary Ann Steyer Greene, 81

Mary Ann Steyer Greene, 81, of Ellenboro, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013. 

A native of Garrett County Maryland, she was born on October 23, 1931 to the late Ervin Steyer and Edna Manks Steyer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willford Lee “Jack” Greene; one brother, Don Steyer; and one sister, Lois Nogle. She was a seamstress and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Ellenboro where she was a former nursery worker.

Ms. Greene is survived by her son, Steve Greene and wife Sandra of Ellenboro; by two grandchildren, Christopher Greene and wife Ashley of Ellenboro, and Allyson Greene of Ellenboro, and two great granddaughters, Maddie Greene and Izabella Greene. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Ms. Greene was held at Bethel Baptist Church in Ellenboro. Burial followed in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
