Mary Ellen Davis, age 80, of Forest City passed away March 4, 2022.

Mary Ellen was born September 6, 1941 in Rutherford County to the late Frank Weldon Moore and Margaret Walker Moore.

She was a longtime member of Providence United Methodist Church and DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution).

She was preceded in death by husband, Charles Davis, and brother Larry Frank Moore.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughter, Jennifer Davis and many close friends and family.

The funeral service was held March 9, 2022 at Providence United Methodist Church with Rev. Phillip Duncan and Rev. Bill Taylor officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations requested to the Levine Children's Hospital, atriumhealth.org, or RCLS Bookmobile, rutherfordcountylibrary.org.

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
