Mary Kathryn Swing Padgett, 89, of Mooresboro, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015.

A native of Mecklenburg County, she was born on December 08, 1925, a daughter of the late Fred Swing and Nancy Lewis Swing. She was retired from Cone Mills Corporation and was a member of Cliffside Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Noyce L. Padgett, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Patsy White of Cliffside; one brother, Jimmy Swing of Kernersville; her grandchildren, Brian L. White and wife Heather of Cliffside and Jamie White and wife Teri of Harris; her great grandchildren, Tyler White, Blair White, Mason White and Sadie White.

Funeral services were held at Cliffside Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Fleming and Rev. Joey Cantrell officiating. Burial followed in the Cliffside Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Raina Crowder, Glenda Scruggs and Sybil Fisher.
