Mary Lee Whisnant Woody, age 93, of Forest City, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020.

Mary Lee was born May 16, 1926 in Polkville, and was a daughter of the late John Nolan Whisnant and Florence W. Whisnant.

Mary Lee was preceded in death by her son James Woody.

Survivors include her sister Ruth Powell, her daughters Judy Cairo (husband Michael Simpson) and Joanne Oates, daughter-in-law Linda Woody, one granddaughter, one grandson and one great-granddaughter.

A private service for her family was held at Cool Springs Cemetery. The family will announce plans for a memorial service to celebrate her life at a later date.
