Mary Louise Wall Greene, age 80, a former resident of Forest City, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016.

She was born in Rutherford County on November 25, 1935 and was a daughter of the late Herman M. Wall and Rosalee Smith Wall. Louise was a longtime member of the former Alexander Baptist Church and retired from owning and managing nursing homes. Her brother, Bill Wall preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Christopher Pharis Greene and his wife Joan of Greenville, SC, a daughter, Sondra Greene Lowery and her husband, Kim of Rutherfordton, and brother, J. B. Wall and his wife Sue of Forest City. There are two grandchildren, as well as five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in The Padgett and King Chapel with interment following in the Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
