Mary Suthell Walker, 90, of Spindale, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012.

 A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Hobert and Dolly Flynn Walker. Suthell was a missionary for the Baptist State Convention, serving on several mission fields. She was also a former WMU Director for the NC Baptist State Convention. Suthell was a member of Spencer Baptist Church, where she was a member of the WMU and the Spencer Kitchen Band.

Suthell is survived by her brother, John H. Walker of Rutherfordton, and a number of cousins.

Memorial Services were held at Spencer Baptist Church with Rev. Billy E. Vaughn officiating.
