Max Daniel "Dan" Ingle, age 86 of Forest City passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015.

He was born January 13, 1929 in Rutherford County and was the son of the late Reverend M. H. Ingle and Minnie Bell Mosley Ingle. Dan retired from a long career with Broyhill Furniture Manufacturing Company and was faithful member of Missionary Wesleyan Church where he had served many years as organist. He had a great love of music and was able to share his talents as he served as music director in numerous churches over his lifetime. He was a graduate of Cool Springs High School and attended Gardner-Webb College, and served 16 years in the National Guard. His beloved wife, Beadie Hardin Ingle preceded him in death in 2009.

Survivors include his son, Danny Ingle and wife Sheila of Forest City, a grandson, Clint Ingle and wife Stephanie of Ellenboro, a granddaughter, Kristen Ingle Wright and husband Jeremy of Morganton, and great-grandson, Jonah Ingle.

The funeral was held in The Padgett and King Chapel with Reverend Owen Duncan, Reverend Steve Beam officiating. Interment followed in the Cool Springs Cemetery with Reverend Mack Tester officiating the graveside rites.
