Maxine Delores Black Heafner, 92

Maxine Delores Black Heafner, 92 of Rutherfordton passed away December 31, 2022.

She was the daughter of the late Sandy D. Black and Florence Webb Black. Maxine was also preceded in death by a son Sandy E. Heafner, sister Ruth Webb Lineberger, daughter in-law Valerie Heafner and step-grandchild Brooke Absher.

Maxine is a native of Gaston County. She worked as a florist.

She is survived by her son Tim Heafner, grandson and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Jordan Heafner, step-grandchildren Rebecca Absher, and Erin Stewart and two great grandchildren, four step-great grandchildren.
