Maxine Fay Ross Correll, age 72, of York, SC passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018.

She was born to the late Amos L. and Mary Grace Kyukendall Ross in Gaston County. She is also predeceased by her son, Bobby Davis, Jr.; and a grandson.

Maxine left behind to cherish her memories her husband, Kenneth Earl Correll of the home; daughters, Debra Baxter of Forest City and Dawn Davis of Charlotte; a sister, Betty Short of Kings Mountain; two grandchildren.

She was retired from Hoechst Celanese. She enjoyed embroidery, sowing, yard work, visiting family and friends, bird watching, word search puzzles and homemaking. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service was held at Robert Morgan Funeral and Cremation Service, LLC of Boiling Springs, NC. Rev. Kathy Houser officiated.
