Runners take off at the beginning of the Meet me at the Fountain 5 K. The event is sponsored by Smith Drug Company, Friendship Forest City, and Holly Springs Senior Citizens Homes.

Proceeds from the 5K go toward the V Foundation, Relay for Life and Brother Wolf Animal Rescue Rutherford Chapter.
