The world is a little less bright after the passing of Michael Laurence Huntley, 71, of Cliffside NC.

He is survived by his wife Becky, his children, Brannon & Carmen, Christopher, Michelle & Jimmy, Peter & AmyLynnne, 14 grandchildren, his brother Johnny, his sister-in-law Cammie, his nieces and nephews, and their spouses and children.

He entered the presence of his Heavenly Father greeted by his mother, Rebecca; father, Manson; brother, Mark; grandson, Roland; and grandparents, uncles, and aunts.

A funeral service was held January 19 at First United Methodist Church of Forest City.
