Michael Steve "Mike" Pruett, 74

Michael Steve "Mike" Pruett, 74, of Ellenboro, NC passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023.

Born in Catawba County, he was the son of the late Amos Ralph Pruett and Dorothy McNeilly Pruett. He owned and operated Mike's Auto Sales and Mike's Auto Transport in Forest City. He was a member of Casar United Methodist Church and a US Army veteran serving in the 101st Airborne and infantry division during Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife, Paula Grigg Pruett; his son, Robbie Pruett of Ellenboro; his daughter Kimberly Mullinax and husband Frankie of Forest City; three grandchildren, his father-in-law, Paul Grigg and wife Mary and his aunt, Mavin Walker of Taylorsville.

Funeral services were held November 7 in The Padgett & King Chapel with Rev. David Hawkins officiating. Military honors were accorded by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
