Michael Todd McKinney, 45

Michael Todd McKinney, 45, of Shelby, passed away on Wednesday, April 09. 

A native of Cleveland County, he was born on May 30, 1968, a son of Robert and Alice Bostic McKinney of Shelby. He was a member of Gantt’s Grove Baptist Church and liked to work outside.

 In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Alex McKinney of Kings Mountain; one daughter, Katlyn McKinney and fiancé Timothy Davis of Goldsboro, NC; one brother, Scott McKinney and fiancé Teresa Branch of Boiling Springs.

 The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Douglas Boyette and the staff at the Sanger Clinic of Shelby for their care.

A Celebration of Michael’s Life was held at Gantt’s Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Lane officiating. Burial followed in the Gantt’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
