Mildred H. Harris, age 93, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019.

Mildred was born July 30, 1926 in Buncombe County, NC to the late Lonnie Hunt and Vernie Prophes Hunt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Darlene May; brother, Alva Ray Hunt of Forest City and a sister, Louise L Watkins of Golden Valley.

Those left to cherish her memory include a grandson, a great-granddaughter, and a great-great-grandson. She is also survived by brother J.T. Hunt of Golden Valley; sister, Barbara Jena Bumgarner of Golden Valley and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial graveside service was conducted at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
