Mr. Albert “Al” Joseph Paulin, 78, of Union Mills, passed away Monday, May 2, 2011. A Memorial Service was held at

Second Baptist Church. Military honors will be provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.

Mr. Paulin served our country in the U.S. Navy, Naval Operations Specialist,  served in Korea and the Persian Gulf.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Hilma Paulin.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Beverly Paulin of the home; 1 sister, Theresa Dubreuil of Canada; 2 brothers, Francis Paulin of Canada, and Ray Paulin and wife Anne of Toronto, Canada; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Second Baptist Church, 191 Green Street, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
