Mr. Benny William Coggins, of Herimitage Trail, Ellenboro, NC passed away Monday, May 9, 2011. Services was held at A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel. Burial followed in Big Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Coggins was preceded in death by his parents, Benny Truman Coggins and Eva Mae Moore Coggins Huckabee; 1 son, William Brian Coggins; and 1 brother, David Lee Coggins.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Fredell Coggins; 1 daughter, Chastity Metcalf and husband Mark of Sunny View; 2 brothers, Earl Coggins of Shelby, NC and Wayne Coggins of Columbus, NC; 2 sisters, Barbara Coggins of Sunny View and Lynn Coggins of Rutherfordton; and 2 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glenn Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.
McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral Home, Cliffside, NC is serving the family.
