Mr. Charles Madison Robbins, 88 of Forest City, NC passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2011. Graveside services were held at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
Mr. Robbins served our country in the US Air Force, serving in Guam in WWII.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lemuel Madison and Irene Miller Robbins.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mildred Harrill Robbins of the home; daughter, Cherry Garmon and husband Russ of Winston Salem; sister, Bobbi Yelton Scruggs of Forest City; two brothers, Bill Robbins of Forest City and L.M. Robbins, Jr. of Ohio; two grandsons.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Crowe’s Mortuary of Rutherfordton, NC is serving the family.
