Mr. Foy Lee Crowe, 85, of Forest City, NC, passed away Friday, July 23, 2010. A Celebration of Life was held at Adaville Baptist Church.

Mr. Crowe served our country in the U.S. Army and the Merchant Marines serving during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Iverson Crow and Dovie Collins Crow.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Morrison Crowe; 1 son, Alex Crowe; 1 daughter, Gail Crowe Smith; 1 brother, J.B. Crow; 1 sister, Eunice Mills; 5 granddaughters; 1 great-grandson; and a number of relatives and friends.
