Mr. Frank Edwin Harris, 76, of Ellenboro, passed away Monday, December 5, 2011.

    Funeral services were held at Campfield Memorial Baptist Church.     A native of Rutherford County, he was born on June 13, 1935, a son of the late Rev. L.B. and Ocie McCraw Harris.

    In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by five brothers and six sisters and one grandson, Chris Ledford. He is survived by his companion, Dolly Lowery; two daughters, Shelia Blakemore and husband Russell and Angie Ledford and husband John, both of Ellenboro; two brothers, Earl Harris and wife Janie of Ellenboro and Sherrill Harris and wife Carol of Ellenboro; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, his former wife, Louise Harris and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Memorials may be made to Campfield Memorial Baptist Church Building Fund, 369 Campfield Church Road, Ellenboro, NC 28040.
