Mr. Fredrick Peter Reavey, 91, of Forest City, NC, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Sunday, December 5, 2010. Services were held at Alexander Methodist Church, Forest City, NC with military honors provided by Rutherford County Honor Guard.
Mr. Reavey served our country in the U.S. Army, Jumpmaster for the 82nd Airborne, serving during WWII.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Mae Fargis Reavey; and his parents, Daniel Reavey and Elizabeth Boutin Reavey.
He is survived by 1 daughter, Beth Greene and husband Greg of Forest City, NC; 1 son, Daniel James Reavey of Greensboro, NC; 1 grandson; 1 great-granddaughter; and a number of nephews and nieces.
