Mr. George Edward Ballard, 61, of Henrietta, NC passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2011. Memorial services  were held at Henrietta Revival Center.

Mr. Ballard was preceded in death by his parents George Dallas Ballard and Mildred Harris Ballard and an infant brother, Stephen Ballard.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Beverly Ballard; one son, Shawn Edward Ballard of Henrietta; two grandchildren, Liberty and Jayden Garcia; one brother in-law, Mark McDermott of Bryans Road, MD and two sister in-laws, Brenda McDermott and Jill McDermott also of Bryans Road.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen VA  23060 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
