Mr. J.C. Teague, 74, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Services were held at Second Baptist Church, Rutherfordton. Burial followed in Rutherfordton City Cemetery. 

Mr. Teague served our country in the U.S. Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Roosevelt “Ted” and Stella Mae Bright Teague; and 1 brother, Charles Teague.

He is survived by his wife, Elsie Cleo Hill Teague of the home; 2 daughters, Sherry Lynn Owens of Union Mills and Katrina Ann Abell of Collegeville, PA; 1 son, Wendell Ray Teague of Gilkey; 1 sister, Louise Ford of Spindale; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
