Mr. James C. Hayes, 59, of Forest City, NC passed away Monday, April 25, 2011. No formal services are planned.

Mr. Hayes was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse C. Hayes and Edna Cox Hayes.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Hayes; 1 daughter, Melissa Ann Brown of Gaffney, SC; 3 step-children; Bruce Sidel and wife Missy of Shreve, OH, Brad Sidel and Melissa Hirst and husband Jeff, all of Dalton, OH; 1 brother, David Hayes and wife Deborah of Spartanburg, SC; 2 sisters, Emily Hayes Bradley of Spartanburg, SC and Judy Gilbert and husband Calvin of Boiling Springs, SC; 10 grandchildren; and 4 nieces and nephews.
