Mr. Joe Frank Mills, 73, of Mill Spring went home to be with his Lord and Savior April 9, 2012.
He was a retired carpenter. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, friend, and companion. His surviving children with Arrie Mills of Mill Spring include four daughters: Judy Mills and Loretta Mills of Tryon, Rhonda Mills and Bonnie Mills Searcy (Mitchell Jr.) of Sunny View. One Son, Billy Joe Mills of Sunny View. He was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is survived by two sisters: Glynes Wilson and Shirly Turner of Mill Spring, one brother Jesse Mills of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn William Mills and Willie Mae Calhoun Mills, one brother: Thaddeaus Lewis Mills and a sister Helen Padgett.
The family is grateful for the loving care provided by his companion Janet Haynes and Hospice. A private service was held with Rev. Jesse Mills officiating.
