Mr. John Daniel Butt, Sr., 59, of Forest City, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2011. A memorial service was held at McKinney Memorial Chapel.
Mr. Butt served his country in the US Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Rufus Butt and Eunice Lee Tewell Lehmkuhl of Franklin, OH.
He is survived by three sons, John Butt, Jr. of Sonoma County, California; Michael Butt of Waynesville, Ohio; Jack Taunton of Franklin, Alabama; two daughters, Jessica Boggs of Mooresboro and Hannah Taunton of Franklin, Alabama; one brother, Greg Butt of Germantown, Ohio; three sisters, Trudy Pierce and Rebecca Deaton, both of Franklin, Ohio and Barb Carter of Lakeland, Florida and five grandchildren.
McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral Home, Cliffside, NC is serving the family.
