Mr. John “Frank” Wilson, 76, of 228 Roberson Road, Harris, NC, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010. Services were held at Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church. Burial will take place on a future date.

Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Osbourne Wilson and Myrtle Gibson Wilson; 3 brothers, J.L. Wilson, Abraham Clyde Wilson, and William Fred Wilson; and 2 sisters, Virginia Mae Clayton and Marie Greene.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shelby Jean Wilson; 2 daughters, Barbara Burgess and husband David of Dobbinsville and Norma Reedy and husband Rodney of Ellenboro; 2 brothers, James Luther “Bo” Wilson of Forest City, and J.C. Wilson of Rutherfordton; 1 sister, Louise Kirk and husband David of Knoxville, TN; 3 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the family at 228 Roberson Road, Forest City, NC 28043.
