Mr. L. B. Waters, 78, of Ellenboro, NC, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2011. The family gathered for a time of remembrance at 438 Pioneer Rd., Ellenboro, NC. Internment was held in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
Mr. Waters served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loyd Waters and Leo Henson Waters and one son, Clale Waters.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Elizabeth Beheler Waters; two sons, Romeo Waters and James Waters, both of Ellenboro; one daughter, Penny Mathis and husband, Jerry of Ellenboro; one brother, Glen Waters of Golden Valley and three grandchildren.
